ACCESSIBILITY

Everyone should be able to shop with us.

We’re working to make pineapplepierclothing.com usable for as many people as possible, including customers who browse with screen readers, keyboards, magnification, or voice control.

Our commitment

Accessibility isn’t a feature we finished. It’s something we check, break, and fix as the site changes, the same way we check anything else we care about.

If any part of this site keeps you from finding a piece, understanding a policy, or completing an order, that’s our problem to solve, not yours. Tell us and we’ll fix it — and in the meantime, we’ll help you do the thing you were trying to do.

The standard we work toward

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the benchmark most widely used to judge whether a site is usable by people with disabilities. It covers things like readable color contrast, working with a keyboard alone, text alternatives for images, and clear form labels.

We haven’t completed a formal third-party audit, so we describe this as what we’re working toward rather than something we’ve certified.

What we’re doing

  • Headings are structured in order, so screen readers can navigate a page by section
  • Everything interactive can be reached and operated with a keyboard alone
  • Text is checked for contrast against its background
  • Links are underlined, so they don’t rely on color alone to be recognizable
  • Form fields have visible labels, not just placeholder text
  • Pages reflow to one column on small screens and when text is enlarged, without side-scrolling
  • Motion is kept minimal, and we respect the reduced-motion setting on your device
  • Product photography is written with descriptive alt text

We also offer a set of on‑page accessibility tools — including text adjustments, visual controls, readable fonts, and page‑reading support — to help more people browse comfortably.

Where we fall short

Being specific is more useful than a blanket promise, so here’s what we know isn’t there yet:

  • Some third-party tools we rely on — order tracking, the returns portal, embedded video — are outside our control and may not meet the same standard
  • Older product listings may have shorter alt text than newer ones while we work back through them
  • Video content doesn’t yet have captions or transcripts across the board

This list is honest rather than complete. If you hit something that isn’t on it, we want to know.

If something isn’t working

Email info@pineapplepierclothing.com or use our contact form. It helps if you can tell us:

  • The page you were on
  • What you were trying to do
  • What happened instead
  • The device, browser, or assistive technology you were using, if you know it

We reply within one business day, Monday to Friday. You don’t need to use any of the words above or diagnose the problem — “I can’t get the size chart to read out” is a perfect report.

We’ll help you directly

If the site is in your way right now, don’t fight it. Email us and a real person will look up sizing, describe a fabric or a color, walk you through options, place an order for you, or start a return on your behalf.

Tell us what to fix.

Accessibility feedback goes to info@pineapplepierclothing.com and we answer within one business day.

We review this page and the issues behind it as the site changes.
